Trending now - The Pocky dance!

What is the Pocky dance?
What is the 'Share Happi Pose'?
Well ... it's sort of advertising.

According to Glico (the company that makes Pocky), the 'Share happi pose' is supposed to look like how you hold and eat Pocky.

The Pocky dance has become a huge phenomenon, and people are learning the dance, filming themselves and uploading to Youtube across Japan!

Origami - not just folding for fun!!!

Of course origami is a fun and engaging activity, and it also teaches alot about basic engineering! Have you ever stopped to think, though, just how far origami can go?

Have a look at this video about famous physicist and origami enthusiast, Robert Lang. Robert used to work for NASA and used the basic principals of origami to create some amazing - literally out of this world - projects.

Kana Battle 2 - our favourite iPad game!

Kana Battle 2 is our favourite iPad game to learn the hiragana.
How do you play? Match the hiragana to it's sound, then tap on the skulls to remove them. But that's not all there is to it!
You need to constantly upgrade both your defense and attack to knock out the emoji's that increase in strength.

Overall rating - 10 for fun and 12 for learning!

PPAP Cafe - now open at Tokyo Skytree

Although the PPAP phenomenon only started in August last year, there is already a PPAP themed cafe in Tokyo!
